Common questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Select Civetta and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open Civetta on the new device, go to Settings → Restore Purchases, and sign in with the Apple ID that originally purchased the subscription.
Why is a website I trust being blocked?
Civetta combines several public threat-intelligence feeds plus our own analysis. Occasionally a legitimate site gets caught. Open the alert in the app and tap Whitelist this domain — the site is allowed for your account immediately. If you think it's a feed problem, email [email protected] so we can investigate.
How do I report a suspicious email?
Open the email in Mail and forward it to your Civetta Report
address (it looks like [email protected]).
You'll find your address in Settings → Email reporting
in the app, and there's a one-tap button there to add "Civetta
Report" to your Contacts so you can just type "Civetta" in the
To: field when you forward.
We'll analyze the email — checking the sender, the links, any attachments — and let you know whether it's safe. Most verdicts come back within 30 seconds.
Your address is private to you. If you ever think someone might know it, rotate it from the same Settings screen and you'll get a fresh one.
Does Civetta work on cellular as well as Wi-Fi?
Yes. Civetta uses an iOS Network Extension that filters DNS on every network your device is on — cellular, Wi-Fi at home, Wi-Fi at a hotel.
